Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using the app. They help keep the community safe and the reports trustworthy.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to the TalaashConnect (“Talash”) app and website, operated by BA Digital Apps. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Not an emergency service

TalaashConnect is a community tool that helps spread information about missing persons. It is not a replacement for the police. If someone is missing or in danger, contact the police immediately (dial 15 in Pakistan) and report the case to the relevant authorities.

3. Who can use the app

The app is intended for adults. It is not intended for children to use on their own. Reports about missing children must be posted by an adult, such as a parent, family member, or guardian.

4. Posting reports

When you post a missing-person report, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share it — for example, you are a family member or guardian of the missing person, or you are acting with their permission.
  • The information and photo are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You understand that once published, the report — including the photo, details, location, and your phone and WhatsApp numbers — will be visible to all app users and may be shared outside the app.
  • You will mark the report as “Found” once the person is located.

5. Rules of conduct

You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or prank reports.
  • Post reports about people you have no right to report on, or to track or harm someone.
  • Use contact numbers from reports to harass, threaten, scam, or demand money from anyone.
  • Post content that is offensive, sexual, violent, or that exploits children in any way.
  • Try to hack, disrupt, or misuse the app or its data.

6. Review and removal

Every report is reviewed by an admin before it is published. We may reject, edit for safety, or remove any report or account that breaks these terms or puts anyone at risk, and we may share information with the police or authorities where required by law or to help in a missing-person case.

7. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time — see Delete Account.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is”. Reports are created by users, and while every report is reviewed, we cannot guarantee that every report is accurate or that a missing person will be found. Always be careful when meeting or sharing information with people you contact through the app. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for any loss or harm arising from the use of the app or from information posted by users.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
