Our commitment
TalaashConnect has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The app exists to help find missing people, including children, and must never be used to harm them.
How we protect children
- Admin review: every report is reviewed by an admin before it is published. Pending reports are not shown publicly.
- Adults only post: reports about missing children must be posted by an adult, such as a parent, family member, or guardian. The app is not intended for children to use on their own.
- Right to share: users must only post reports they have the right to share.
- Private accounts: users’ email addresses and profile details are never shown to other users.
Prohibited content and behaviour
- Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a child.
- Using reports or contact numbers to groom, contact, track, or harm a child.
- False reports about a child, or reports posted by someone without the right to share them.
How to report a concern
If you see a report or behaviour that may put a child at risk, email us at talaashconnect@gmail.com with the subject “Child Safety Concern”. Please include the name on the report and any details that will help us find it.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police right away (dial 15 in Pakistan).
What we do when we receive a report
- We review the concern as a priority.
- We remove content that breaks these standards and may block the account responsible.
- Where we find child sexual abuse material or a child at risk, we report it to the relevant authorities in Pakistan, as required by law.
We comply with applicable child safety laws in Pakistan. See also our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
